We’ve already reviewed Fred Perry’s Spencer Canvas Shoe, so here’s an equally stylish SS17 footwear arrival from the British heritage experts. Like the Spencer, this Slip On shoe features an Ortholite tech insole for maximum comfort and breathability. The chunky rubber sole is typically well constructed, as is the smooth cotton canvas upper. Notice the twin tipping around the rim, which is directly inspired by the classic Fred Perry shirt. Halcyon Tan Leather Sneaker by John White – £100
Probably our favourite shoe to date by British shoemakers John White. These “Halcyon” sneakers are sumptuously made, with all the attention to detail we’ve come to expect from this brand. The polished calf upper is remarkably smooth and luxurious, complimented by a soft, comfortable tongue and ankle quarter. We also love the subtle brown shade of the lacing, which perfectly matches the Tan leather. A real highlight of our footwear collection at Apache. Also available in a stunning Navy version.
Monte Suede Driving Shoe by John White – £90
These jaw-dropping Moccasin shoes by John White are brand new to Apache this Spring Summer season. The Moccasin style was invented by Native American tribes and was given an early-20th century makeover by master Italian shoemakers. These “Monte Carlo” suede shoes are handmade in Florence, Italy, so you know you’re getting the highest quality. A real work of art. Check out the Cognac version here.
